| If you are hired by Prowler Fisheries, the following is important information on what you will need with you while onboard our vessels and how you can be contacted while at sea. |

| Bedding – Mattresses are furnished. You will need to bring your own pillow, blankets, comforter or a sleeping bag (with a non-slip outer cover as they will slip right out of the bunk possibly with you in them), pillow cases and sheets. |

| Clothing – You will be working in a very cold and wet environment. You will need layers of warm clothes. Sweats and long johns work well. Fleece dries quickest and wool insulates you best, even when wet. Bring enough clothes to last 8 days as laundry is done when it is possible and convenient. Make sure to bring enough socks. You will need at least one set (bibs and coats) of good quality raingear and at least one pair of insulated rubber boots (Xtra Tuff’s are most popular). Another good idea is a pair of sock liners or insoles for your boots. Bring a pair of comfortable shoes that are easy to put on and take off (i.e. deck slippers or shower slippers). If you do not have these items you can go to Ship Supply in Seattle and they will have everything you need. If you are unable to purchase these items before you leave Seattle, they can be purchased in Dutch Harbor. Just remember that you are charging these items and the cost will be taken out of your check at the end of the trip. |

| Personal Items – Bring towels wash clothes, toiletries (i.e. shaving cream, deodorant, toothpaste, shampoo, eyeglasses or contact lenses, soap, etc.) to last for up to 45 days. Writing materials are nice to have, as are books, a portable DVD player, CD’s and movies. |

| Please remember that Alaska Airlines will charge for any bag over 50 lbs. and will only allow you to have one quart size Ziploc bag of liquids, creams or gels in your carry on. We recommend that you pack duffel bags as hard luggage is not allowed onboard due to limited space. |

| Please remember that mail takes at least 10 days to reach Dutch Harbor depending on weather. All letters and packages should be sent to the address for the boat you will be on. Mail will be picked up at OSI by the skipper at the end of each trip. |
